At the Family Barbecue and Garden Games Party in aid of St Mary's and St Martin's last Saturday was shelter in the garages at Pooh Corner and Toad Hall to watch the only downpour of the drought. And a spectacular sight it was, too. Rain, as the saying goes, did not dampen the spirits and well over £300 was raised.
