A person has been taken to hospital after a crash on the A1(M) near Stevenage this morning that involved four vehicles.
The crash happened on the motorway’s northbound stretch between Junction 6 for Welwyn and Junction 7 for Stevenage at about 8.35am.
An ambulance service spokesman said one crew attended the scene and treated one person, who was taken to Stevenage’s Lister Hospital for further treatment.
A lane remains closed, and there are still long delays. Traffic England expect normal traffic conditions to return between 1.30pm and 1.45pm.
