On-loan striker Connor Calcutt faces up to 10 weeks on the sidelines after breaking his leg.
The 21-year-old, who is currently on a month-long loan at Vanarama Conference South club Wealdstone, suffered a clean break to his fibula on Monday at Chelmsford City.
Manager Gordon Bartlett told the Stones’ website: “Connor is naturally very down with this news but we will provide every support and encouragement to assist his recovery.
“Connor has quickly become a big part of a close knit squad at Wealdstone. His work ethic and spirit during his time with us has been exceptional and we will do all we can for him.”
The injury is the latest blow to a Stevenage striker after Chris Beardsley, Adam Marriott and Calvin Zola all missed significant time on the treatment table.
