THIS weekend old boys from across the world will be returning to their alma mater to celebrate their school's centenary.
Hundreds of graduates and former staff members from Hitchin Boys' School going back to the early 1940s are expected at the school for a weekend of events.
On Friday a concert featuring music from Bach to Gershwin will take place in the school hall played by members old and new. And on Saturday an old boy hockey match on the school field will be followed by a memorabilia exhibition in the library and a black tie dinner in a marquee in the quad in the evening.
The concert is open to all (although limited to 200), so if you fancy a night of classical and jazz, tickets are 10 from the school office or by calling David Stancombe on 01366 328153.
