Stevenage youngster recently scored in U18 match against Peterborough United
Fejiri Okenabirhie has been recognised for his football and academic progress as part of a national competition.
Okenabirhie recently played 90 minutes in Stevenage U18s’ 5-1 defeat to Peterborough United, scoring his side’s only goal.
The League Football Education, which manages the apprenticeship programme at Football League clubs, has launched The 11 to recognise the football and academic progress of apprentice players across the land.
The other players named in The 11 are: Connor Mahoney (Accrington Stanley), Harry Williams (Cheltenham Town), Sam Szmodics (Colchester United), James Jones (Crewe Alexandra), Jake Charles (Huddersfield Town), Bryn Morris (Middlesbrough), Tyler Guy (Notts County), Ben Close (Portsmouth), Ioan Evans (Sheffield United), Robert Evans (Wrexham).
