Police have released images of a necklace and a watch which they believe to be stolen, in the hope of reuniting them with the rightful owner.
The items were recovered during a police warrant in Letchworth on July 20. A 25-year-old woman from Letchworth, arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods, and a 30-year-old man from Letchworth, arrested on suspicion of burglary, have been released on police bail until September 1.
Det Con David Lawson, investigating, said: “We believe that these items may have been stolen during a burglary and I am asking people to take a look at these items and make contact with me if they believe this jewellery belongs to them.”
Anyone with information should contact Det Con Lawson on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. Alternatively use their anonymous online form at crimestoppers-uk.org.
