Stevenage new boy Curtis Obeng knows following up Tuesday’s 1-0 victory over Crewe Alexandra with a positive result at Bradford City on Saturday is a must.

Boro remain bottom of the Sky Bet League 1 table after their mid-week win, but with 15 games left to go and 45 points to play for there is still time for Stevenage to avoid the drop.

Looking ahead to the weekend’s trip to Valley Parade, Obeng, who made his Boro debut against Crewe after joining on loan from Premier League Swansea City last week, said: “We’ve got that winning feeling now, and we needed to carry it into the next game.

“There’s a job to be done. Every game for us now is huge.

“Saturday is going to be a big game against a good side, but the confidence is there in the dressing room and we can take the positives from [the Crewe] game through to Saturday.”
