A cheque presentation of more than £11,000 was held at Bee Bees nursery in Great Ashby, Stevenage, last Thursday.
The nursery presentated £11,696 - raised by Busy Bees nurseries across the east of England - to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices.
Charity co-ordinator Emma Brown said: “The staff, children and parents have all worked exceptionally hard to raise such a tremendous amount. We are so proud of the hard work and special effort put in by everyone in the Busy Bees family to raise a truly magnificent amount.”
The event was held at the Stevenage site because it raised £1,397 - more than any of the other 21 nurseries involved.
