OF the 188 students who took GCSEs at The Nobel School in Stevenage, 119 (63.3 per cent) achieved five or more A*s to Cs.

This represents a seven per cent increase on last year, with some pupils recording outstanding individual performances. These students include David Aggus, Abby Jackman, Arthika Jeyakumar, Mark Ekvall, Alex Johnson, Gareth Jones, Sam Murray, Alice Rush, Garima Sharma, Sanchit Sharma, Ryan Slater, Anna Walker, Jade Williams and Sam Woodrow.

Headteacher, Alastair Craig, said: "We congratulate these and all our other successful students on their results.

"We are delighted the results include some excellent outcomes for a large number of students.

"These successes are testament to the considerable hard work and commitment from students, staff and parents.
