A woman whose invaluable work helped with the smooth running of a Stevenage school retired last week.
Kate Perry joined The Nobel School in Mobbsbury Way in 1998 and has worked as a personal assistant to no fewer than eight headteachers.
Current head Martyn Henson said: “Kind, meticulous and hardworking, she will be impossible to replace – and I thank her wholeheartedly for the support and professionalism she has given me since I became head of this lovely school in September 2013.
“On behalf of everyone at Nobel, thank you.”
Kate finished at the school on Wednesday when she was given a special assembly by staff and students.
