An annual beer festival will not be held this year.
Letchworth Beer and Cider Festival will not be held due to a lack of resources.
A statement on the North Herts CAMRA website said: “The reschedule of the Hitchin Festival does not give us enough time. We need at least six months to get a fest off the ground. With Hitchin now seeming to be a summer festival for the forseeable future, we just don’t have the people to manage both.”
The festival which has run for over 20 years is normally held in September.
