The North Herts Guild of Singers (NHGS) and the Romantic Symphony Orchestra will perform Elgar's Sea Pictures and Vaughan William's Sea Symphony on Saturday, April 8, 7.30pm at St Francis College, Broadway - tickets, £12 full; £10 concessions; £5 children under 16, available from NHGS Ticket manager on 742832 or from John Myatt (woodwind and brass), Nightingale Road, Hitchin, David's Music Shop, Eastcheap, LGC, or Evans-Pughe Strings at 24, Bucklersbury, Hitchin. This is a major event involving a large orchestra, a choir of 110 singers and some fine soloists. The conductor will be Marion Wood.
