THE Conservative party gained a seat in Chesfield this afternoon (Friday) in which was the only gain in the whole council.
Liberal Democrat Councillor Sal Jarvis lost her seat, with Cathryn Henry winning by nearly 150 votes.

Sal Jarvis: 708 (Lib Dem)
Bhavna Joshi: 375 (Lab)
Felix Power: 92 (Green)
