Former Bournemouth and Fulham man handed No.2 role at Stevenage
Stevenage have confirmed that Mark Newson will be new manager Gary Smith’s assistant/coach.
A former captain of AFC Bournemouth, Newson made almost 200 appearances for the Cherries and also played for Fulham and Barnet.
He has had spells coaching at West Ham United and Crystal Palace.
