A man has been given a suspended sentence after sexually assaulting a girl.
John Hilton, of Caldecote Road in Newnham, near Ashwell, was given a nine-month jail sentence which has been suspended for two years.
He was charged with one count of indecent assault on a girl.
A sub-order in the sentencing means that Hilton will also be placed on the sex offenders register for the next 10 years.
Hilton was sentenced at Cambridge Crown Court on Friday morning.
