Jamaal Lascelles scored on his first Premier League start for Newcastle United in Saturday’s defeat at Watford.
The defender, who joined the Magpies from Nottingham Forest 17 months ago, headed home a consolation goal in the 2-1 reversal.
The centre-half is a former loan player at Stevenage, and made nine appearances for the club during the 2011-12 season in League One. It is for Boro that he scored his first goal in professional football when he scored Stevenage’s fourth in a 6-0 thumping of Yeovil Town in April 2012.
