LETCHWORTH GC Post Office is to be modernised into a new style branch with longer opening hours for customers.
The Post Office on Station Road will have extended opening hours and will have five serving positions – four screened counter positions and a Post Office serving point at the retail counter outside of the main Post Office counter positions.
The Post Office will be closed for refurbishment from September 30 and will reopen at 1pm on October 3.
During the refurbishment period of the Post Office, the store will remain open as normal.
The nearest alternative Post Offices are at 36 Whitehorse Street, Baldock, or 93 Norton Road, Letchworth GC.
The new opening hours will be from 6am-8pm Monday to Saturday and 7am-8pm on Sunday.
