People experiencing mental health difficulties in Stevenage and surrounding areas can go along to a new weekly café group run by the charity Mind in Mid Herts.
Outreach worker Hannah Wallinger – who has worked at Mind for seven months – set up the group – which meets at Bedwell Community Centre.
She told the Comet: “This group started so that people who might be feeling low and in need of extra emotional support are able to access our services within the community, especially if they have difficulty accessing our services at our Stevenage base in the town centre.
“The group is very informal and everyone is welcome to attend.”
