The Mind in Mid Herts charity is running a new mental health group.

People experiencing mental health difficulties in Stevenage and surrounding areas can go along to a new weekly café group run by the charity Mind in Mid Herts.

Outreach worker Hannah Wallinger – who has worked at Mind for seven months – set up the group – which meets at Bedwell Community Centre.

She told the Comet: “This group started so that people who might be feeling low and in need of extra emotional support are able to access our services within the community, especially if they have difficulty accessing our services at our Stevenage base in the town centre.

“The group is very informal and everyone is welcome to attend.”

If you are interested in joining the group, which meets on Thursday mornings from 10.30am until 12pm, or want any more information call Mind in Mid Herts on 01438 369216 or email
