A STAFF member who died weeks before the opening of a school food technology suite has had his memory honoured after working so hard to help build it.
The widow of technician Gareth Jones, along with MP Barbara Follett, attended the opening at Thomas Alleyne School in Stevenage and unveiled a brass plaque in the sparkling new suite.
Mrs Follett said: "I am honoured to have been asked to open this very up-to-date facility in this very forward looking school.
