A CARE home has found a cheep way to keep residents entertained.
Foxholes nursing home in Hitchin welcomed some more residents last week – six newly hatched chicks.
The arrivals hatched in an incubator last Wednesday and have gone down a storm.
Activities coordinator Erica Holmes said: “They have gone down really well – some of them [the residents] have stayed up really late – we couldn’t get them to bed because they were watching the chicks.”
The chicks are soon due to move to a new home.
