Nee Nah The Ambulance will be in Hitchin's Market Place today (Saturday).
Martine Stephenson, 35, a paramedic from Letchworth GC will be signing copies of her new children's book about a friendly ambulance at Waterstone's bookshop, and she will be accompanied by a real-life ambulance in the square.
Martine said: "We decided to do a rhyming book for two to six year-olds because kids find it quite terrifying travelling in one and seeing friends or family taken away in one. We wanted to make it not so frightening for them and show them that they are friendly.
