A TEENAGER accused of murder after a man was fatally attacked at the King George V playing fields in Stevenage appeared at Luton Crown Court today (Friday).
Sahan Yeter, 18, spoke only to confirm his name as legal formalities were dealt with.
He should have been joined by his co-defendant who is only 15 but there had been problems in bringing him to court from the institution where he is being detained.
The case against them both was adjourned until June 30 when it is expected the murder charge will be put to them.
Yeter, of Jessop Road, Stevenage was remanded in custody and there was no application for bail.
Christopher Faulkner, 20, of Brook Drive, Stevenage died in Lister Hospital from a single stab wound to his chest following the attack on April 21.
