Was taken up getting ready for the carnival: Well done to all involved in the float and those who walked in this year parade. The day was enjoyed by all. Water based team challenges were arranged one evening as a break from the preparations and with the hot weather much of the water seemed to miss its target! However in the end all challenges were completed. This month sees us start back on the water. Thank you to Jordan's for letting us kayak over at the river in Broom. Last week saw a mix of experienced and first time kayakers take to the water to improve their skills. WAC is for boys and girls aged 10+. We meet on Friday nights 7 - 9 pm at Millennium House, Shortmead Street, for more information contact Mrs Desborough on 01767 221938.
