A MOTORWAY has been cleared after a Jeep overturned this morning (Thursday).
Delays are still expected on the A1(M) as traffic between junction 7 at Stevenage and junction 6 at Welwyn returns to normal.
The driver of the Jeep, a 27-year-old woman, was taken to the Lister Hospital.
Ambulance spokesman Gary Sanderson, who attended the incident, said: "Thankfully the woman was able to crawl from the overturned vehicle before our arrival.
"She was assessed on the roadside by paramedics before being conveyed to the Lister Hospital in Stevenage with minor injuries."
The Jeep was in collision with a blue Renault Megane, driven by a 45-year-old man from Stevenage who was uninjured.

The slip road at junction 7 southbound, which was closed after the incident, has now reopened.
