Police in Stevenage swooped this afternoon to arrest a motorist on suspicion of dangerous driving and failing to stop while unfit through drugs.
The driver was also suspected of lacking a valid MOT for the blue hatchback – which had to be recovered after officers went to move it, only to find it wouldn’t start.
A unit spokesman tweeted a picture of the scene with the words: “This little one failed to stop in Stevenage. Driver arrested – drug drive, fail to stop, dangerous driving and no MOT.”
A further tweet added: “When we went to move it, it wouldn’t start so had to get it recovered.”
A 22-year-old man from Datchworth has been bailed until April 15.
