A MOTORCYCLIST has died after losing control of his bike and colliding with a lorry.
Just after 10pm last night (Thursday) police and paramedics were called to a road traffic collision between a red Honda motorbike and a 7.5 tonne recovery truck on the B655 Hitchin to Hexton road.
Paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist, who was from Knebworth, dead at the scene.
A spokesman for Bedfordshire Police said: "He died because he lost control, for whatever reason, and he and the bike ended up under the wheels of a truck."
The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
