A MOTORBIKE caught fire while travelling along the A1(M) today (Wednesday), causing one lane to close.
A male motorcyclist was driving on the northbound carriageway at about 1.30pm when his grey Suzuki caught alight just before junction 7 for Stevenage.
The man pulled over onto the hard shoulder, where firefighters were called to put out the fire.
One lane was closed during the incident but reopened at 2.15pm.
