A supermarket chain has confirmed that it will be opening a store in a town.
Morrisons will open a M Local – a smaller version of Morrison, similar to Tesco Express or Sainsbury’s Local – at the former M&Co store opposite the M&S on Bancroft, Hitchin.
The store in Hitchin aims to be open by the end of the year and is looking for a team of 20 store managers, assistant store managers, team leaders and team members.
Mandy Flatley, HR director new business development at Morrisons, said: “Our success is built on our people and putting the customer at the heart of everything we do. So as we grow into new communities such as Hitchin we’re encouraging friendly and hard working people to join us and help us achieve our goal of giving customers excellent service every time.”
