BORO striker Steve Morison has revealed that he has all but agreed a deal to join League One club Millwall for 85,000.

Speaking on the BBC'S Non League Football Show on Monday evening, Morison said he had agreed his end of the deal and is waiting for the two clubs to sign on the dotted line.

The Boro striker, who hit 32 goals this season, said: "I'm just waiting for the clubs to sort out their side of it. I've done my bit. I've agreed what I need to agree and I'm waiting for the two clubs to sort out their sides of the bargain.

"We didn't get promoted so I can leave for 85,000 so I'm just waiting for Stevenage to give me the blessing.

"You never want to say something is set in stone because football is one of those worlds when anything can happen at drop of a hat."

Morison also spoke of his gratitude to Boro by saying: "I've had a fantastic time. They gave me my chance again when maybe it was all over when I dropped to Bishop's Stortford. When I got back into this better level of football I had a lot to prove and you can't do it without all the support of management and staff.

"The fans are the ones who give you confidence every week and they get behind you and they make it worthwhile. It's just been great to share it with lots of different people.
