THE chairmanship of Biggleswade and District 3 Style Association changed hands at the weekend.
Mitchell Cole, 12, of Mead End, who is a pupil at Holmemead School, took over from Tom Stimson, 17.
Tom has been a tireless worker for the association and involved his parents Robert and Jane who run the Wheatsheaf pub in Biggleswade in many fundraising activities.
"Tom was a brilliant chairman who raised thousands of pounds for the association and I am sure Mitchell will also do a great job," said association project co-ordinator Ken Lynch.
Mitchell, left, will chair the committee of eight members of the association with his sister Jaimie Leigh Cole, 16, being the secretary.
As chairman of the association Mitchell will retain the association's Friendship Cup which was presented to them by members of the skateboard club in Erlensee which is Biggleswade's twin town in Germany.
