Us boss Ling may miss out on Cole

CAMBRIDGE United boss Martin Ling has said he may not be able to afford Mitchell Cole after the club was linked with the Boro winger.

Ling is known to be after a left winger and there were suggestions he may plump for Cole this summer, but speaking about the possibility of a deal Ling said: “I suppose he fits the bill of a wide left player that we’re after, but it’s people putting two and two together and coming up with five. It might just be too much expense for what I’m looking for.”
