A DIAMOND ring worth about 30,000 has gone missing from an address in Clifton.

Detectives, who are appealing for the public’s help in finding it, say at this stage of their investigation it is not known whether the ring has been lost or stolen, but both possibilities are being considered.

The ring has an all white gold claw setting, on a triple wired yellow shank 2.32mm in diameter, 18 carat gold and hallmarked in London, 1996. Set on the ring is a 2.36 carat, pear-shaped diamond. It has a gross weight of 4.5grams.

Anyone with information about the ring should contact DC Phil Raikes at Bedfordshire Police on 01234 841212, or text to 07786 200011, or contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
