A missing man from Letchworth who disappeared from Lister Hospital in Stevenage yesterday afternoon has just been found safe and well.
Officers at Herts police had published a public appeal this morning to trace Mark Aspin, who had last be seen at the hospital where he was a patient at about 3.50pm.
A police spokesman has just confirmed that the 50-year-old was found in Letchworth at about 9.50am after a member of the public – who officers had already spoken with – contacted them after spotting him.
He thanked the public and press for their assistance.
Mark has since been taken to hospital for medical treatment.
