A missing boy from Baldock has been found safe and sound thanks to a police dog called Blue.
The 14-year-old – who was last seen near Baldock Railway Station – had been reported missing at about 8.15pm on Tuesday.
Blue and his handler were called to the scene after the boy had been seeing in the park off the Clothall Road, and thanks to some dedicated tracking, the teenager was found within a few minutes.
Sgt Vicky Stoughton from the BCH Dog Unit said: “This is another excellent example of how our team, with our highly trained dogs and handlers, can assist officers around the three counties.
“I am proud of Blue and his handler who prevented the teenager coming to any possible harm or danger by finding him so quickly.”
