There was more misery for motorists on the A1 (M) this morning with severe congestion caused by heavy traffic around junction 8 at Coreys Mill, Stevenage, and between junctions 7 and 6 southbound between Stevenage and Welwyn and also through the roadworks between junction 10 at Stotfold and junction 9 at Letchworth Gate.
