David McAllister made 14 appearances for Boro after joining them in October
David McAllister has returned to Shrewsbury Town.
The midfielder joined Stevenage on an initial one-month loan deal in October before extending his deal until January.
The 26-year-old has formed an effective partnership with Dean Parrett in the heart of the midfield as Boro have gone on a recent four match unbeaten run, and had featured in 14 consecutive games since joining the club.
McAllister could soon be reunited with his Boro team-mates as Stevenage travel to Shrewsbury on January 24.
