To celebrate this special year plans are in hand for one activity per month until the end of 2007. Some of these will be of a serious fund raising nature; some will be just for fun. Support will be most welcome for any, or indeed all, of the following: commemoration of the original stone-laying (October); history talk (November); Christmas Festival (December); bring and sing (January 2007); Shrove Tuesday lunch (February); ramble (April); celebration of the Chapel's opening and songs of praise (May) and strawberry tea (June). In connection with the major restoration work, the chapel will be unavailable during this month, but members will be taking the opportunity to explore how other congregations worship. Everyone looks forward to coming back and seeing the Chapel crack free, with a sparkling coat of paint on the walls, ready for the next 100 years!
