Cambridge United boss Gary Brabin has admitted he could bring Daryl McMahon in from the cold to face his former club this evening.
McMahon moved to The Abbey during the January transfer window but has struggled to make an impact with the promotion chasers since the arrival of Jai Reason on loan from Ipswich Town.
But Brabin has hinted he could be about to give the midfielder another opportunity to impress and McMahon will be out to prove a point to Boro boss Graham Westley, who transfer-listed the 26-year-old in November.
"Daryl is a quality player," Brabin told The Cambridge News. "When we've seen him in training over the last couple of weeks, people would find it hard to believe he isn't playing week in, week out.
