An up-market maternity wear shop will be coming to creating four job vacancies.
Jo Jo Maman Bebe will open at the former travel agents on Bancroft.
A spokesman said: “We are hoping to open the store in mid-August however this is subject to change and it could well end up opening before or after this date.”
Hitchin town centre manager Keith Hoskins said: “It is very good news. It’ll be nice to see a real shop in the former travel agents and it’s something that Hitchin has needed for a little while and is very welcomed.”
