A World Cup England star and celebrity Masterchef finalist will be on his bike through Comet country this weekend after bouncing back from a debilitating bug.
Ex-Leeds defender Danny Mills will finally get going on a charity challenge on Sunday after he was forced to cancel the event last weekend because of gastroenteritis.
The 35-year-old will pedal through Shefford, Clifton, Hitchin, St Ippolyts, Titmore Green and Stevenage on a 225-mile ride from Leeds to London to raise �10,000 for spina bifada charity, Shine. Danny’s son Archie died of the condition in 2002.
Danny is hoping to reach Stevenage by 6pm where he will stop off at the Leisure Park to meet well-wishers. Cyclists are welcome to join him along his route, available at www.shinecharity.org.uk/leeds2london
