Mary was born in 1942, one of triplets, although Jennifer died, Mary and Elizabeth thrived with their large family of five sisters and two brothers. Mary eventually married Tony in 1961 and had three girls and one son, but tragically Tony died of a heart attack, though Mary found twenty years of happiness again with Peter, and they came to Oakwood Road in 1997, Mary taking a position in Shefford Medical Centre fourteen years ago but still found time for her family and friends, particularly the children, and enjoyed cooking and collecting antiques.. The burial took place in Clifton Cemetery, then friends and family gathered at the White Hart, Southill. Donations in Mary's honour go to the Bedford Hospital, Macmillan Nurses Fund and should be sent to Chenery Funeral Services, 44 Bedford Road, Hitchin.
