Martial art workshops for children have been held in Stevenage to tackle bullying.
Chells Choi Kwang Do School organised the two-day initiative at Marriotts Sports Centre to coincide with National Anti-Bullying Week.
Instructor Keith Banfield, who helped lead last week’s workshops, said: “We aim to transform lives through mental and physical martial arts education – this helps allow future generations to live happier, healthier, peaceful and more productive lives.
“We would like to thank the Comet for publicising the event and all the parents and children who attended – thanks to their generosity we managed to raise £121.86 for the Anti-Bullying Alliance.”
