Next up for Boro is a friendly against Reading
Adam Marriott scored a hat-trick as Stevenage beat Chesham United 3-1 on Saturday.
The striker, who was signed from Cambridge City this summer, netted his first after Simon Walton’s shot had been blocked and then added a second following good work from Tom Pett.
Pett was then involved in the build up to Marriott’s third, as was Roarie Deacon, before Chesham scored a late consolation with a few minutes of the match remaining.
Next up for Stevenage is a home friendly against Championship side Reading tomorrow evening (Tuesday).
