Mansfield Town boss Adam Murray wants his side to go all out in today’s League Two clash against Boro.

The Stags were beaten 3-2 at home by Accrington Stanley last weekend, and Murray is seeking a response from his players today against a side Mansfield beat 2-0 back in September.

“There’s a lot of passion and fight in the camp right now,” Murray told the Mansfield Chad.

“It starts with me against Stevenage on Saturday. Win, lose or draw I want to see that passion and pride and I want to see my players run around at 100mph, putting people in the stand and trying to score goals. That’s what we are about. That’s what I stand for.

“Stevenage are a weird one. From the outside you see they pick some decent results up but are a bit inconsistent.

“They had a good result against Leyton Orient and they have some good players.

“Their front two – big man and a little man – cause problems. They have some good physical presence and pace and power.”
