A man who went into cardiac arrest in Stevenage today remains in a serious condition in hospital after being resuscitated by paramedics at the scene.
Emergency crews including the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance rushed to Silam Road after concerns were raised for the man’s welfare shortly before 2pm.
The man was in cardiac arrest, but medics were able to resuscitate him before taking him to the town’s Lister Hospital by road ambulance for further care.
An ambulance service spokesman said the man is thought to be in a serious condition.
