A man wanted in connection with the theft of two vacuum cleaners has been arrested in Stevenage this afternoon.
A witness saw numerous police officers in three marked cars and a police van arrest the 32-year-old man in The Hyde at around 2pm.
The man, from Stevenage, was wanted in connection with the theft of two vacuum cleaners from the Sainsbury’s store in Magpie Crescent on September 24 and Wednesday, October 21.
He is currently in custody.
