A man is due to appear before Central Herts Magistrates' Court in Hatfield today following a robbery at a jewellers in Stevenage yesterday lunchtime.
Octavian Dumitru, 20, of Tylecroft Road, Croydon, is charged with theft following the raid on John Lyons Jewellers in the Westgate Shopping Centre.
Police are still searching for another man.
