Part of the A507 was closed and a man was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage last night after a crash between a motorcycle and car.
Police closed the road at 7pm between the A1(M) and Norton Road roundabout while recovery for both vehicles was arranged.
Paramedics were also called to the scene and one male patient who suffered non-life threatening injuries was taken to Lister Hospital.
The road was re-opened just after 9pm.
