A man in his forties was stabbed last night (Sunday).
Police and paramedics were called to Walsworth Road in Hitchin at about 4.45pm. A man had been stabbed in the arm. He was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage for treatment.
Police arrested a 41-year-old man in the area a short time later. He remains in custody and is being questioned on suspicion of grevious bodily harm.
